Four scumbags preaching the joys of drinkin’, druggin’ and fuckin’, the ‘Priests were instantly snapped up by
Sweden’s Bootleg Booze Records and released their astounding first album ‘Tight ‘n’ Exciting’ to rabid
excitement and critical acclaim. Their explosive arrival on the scene resulted in a quick succession of releases
for additional labels including split albums with both Sweden’s Sonic Negroes and USA garage punk legends
Electric Frankenstein as well as a Japan-only compilation album. Preaching their sermon of filth and depravity
throughout the UK and Europe, they made numerous rapturously received festival appearances and played to
ever increasing audiences. Second album 'Full Tilt Bullshit' was released and followed up with yet more touring,
spreading the message to further countries across Europe as well as all over the UK.
Taking advantage of their growing popularity, 2013 was a hectic year which saw them release a total of five 7”s,
including a split with U.S punk legends The Dwarves, on labels from USA, Japan, England, Spain and Germany.
Rave reviews poured in for each release, ranging from ‘a band on top of their game and steps ahead of any of
their UK contemporaries’ to ‘if you’re in any doubt about how good these bad boys are then you need locking up’.
Not content with spreading their filth throughout Europe they completed their first US dates, playing scorching
shows to packed bars on East & West coasts - being joined onstage in LA by Nick Oliveri for a riotous set closer.
Summer 2014 sees the release of third album ‘Black Denim Blitz’, a 13 track masterpiece of sex, filth, hatred
and contempt. As a recent live review commented ‘It can only be a matter of time before these boys break out of
the underground and go viral. I don't need to big up their repertoire as the ferocity of tunes like 'Motherfucker
Superior' do all their talking for them and back up the claims that before it's even recorded the forthcoming
album is going to take some beating in the end of year polls’.
“Lubed up, sleazy rock n’ roll, these guys are the real deal. Like Turbonegro’s bastard sons mad, bad and dangerous to
know…my idea of a damn good time.” (Gearhead Magazine)
"it takes you back to before the Hellacopters and Hank called it quits, before the Supersuckers got tired, and when Nashville Pussy was making people say WTF was that!?!" - Kevin Cole (Turbo AC's, Let's Get Sushi and Not Pay)
